Grand Gallop Welcomes Line & Circle

It's a warm summer night in Los Angeles, 1987. You're driving down Sunset Blvd. on your way to Tower Records. You turn the dial to KROQ. It's the Smiths. REM. The Cure. But wait! You are wrong. It's 2015, you've just heard a brand new track on KXLU, and you're on your way back from your best friend's wedding...

We're thrilled to announce that LA based Line & Circle has joined the party and signed with Grand Gallop! We here at the label do not take this lightly. The band has only released a handful of tracks to date, but have nonetheless been able to turn quite a few music-loving heads in their direction.

Fans of early 4AD dream pop, jangle-core guitars, and heart-on-sleeve lyrics will not be disappointed.

The band's first singles “Roman Ruins,” “Mine Is Mine” and “Wounded Desire” have received praise from Rolling Stone, NPR Music, Pitchfork, KEXP, and Stereogum, among others. We're looking forward to carrying the torch and seeing what comes next!

Look out for Line & Circle’s debut full length, coming later this fall.
